What is "Setting" - "QB/Manual Input" section for?

This section only applies to Act 1, Act 3, and Act 4 only.   

This section allows you to either sync your financial data or imports your financial data so you can use these data to run your compliance-related reports and budgets. 

Auto Sync: 

If you are the following accounting software users, OPUS can automatically create data sync with your  system.  

• Quickbooks Desktop
• Quickbooks Online
• Sage (Launch April 2021) 
• Sage Intacct (Launch April 2021)

This auto-sync is scheduled to be complete daily at midnight.  

You do have the option to sync as frequently as you need in addition to the scheduled daily sync.  To do so, you will select "Sync Quickbooks Actual" and/or "Sync Quickbooks Budget."

This auto-sync allow you to sync both your budget and actual data from your current accounting system into OPUS with ease. 

Manual Import: 

If your current accounting system is not Quickbooks nor Sage, you will still have the option to manually upload your information from Excel format into OPUS. 

There. are four types of reports that you can manually upload into OPUS by using our preset templates for each section.

1. Import Budget/Actual Information: You can import your budget and actual data into OPUS by using our import template. 
2. Import Payroll Information: You can import your staffing matrix and benefit details into OPUS by using our import template. 
3. Import Balance Sheet Information: You can import your detailed Balance Sheet balances into OPUS by using our import template. 
4. Import P&L by class: If your current accounting system tracks your Profit and Loss by different classes (such as locations, student activities, etc.), now you can also import this information into OPUS by using our import template. 

To access each import template, please click on the individual import tab.  Within the report title, click on blue "i," it will bring you a pop-up page to list the import template.  Please make sure that your format is in the exact layouts.  Otherwise, the import won't be successful.
